The billionaire came home early—and froze when he heard his nearly mute son whisper one sentence no one was supposed to know.
Julian Sterling had returned to his Manhattan penthouse without warning, expecting silence, polished marble, and the usual controlled perfection.
Instead, he stepped into chaos.
His four-year-old twin boys—children who had barely spoken since the traumatic night they were born—were clinging desperately to the new maid.
Their tiny arms were locked around her waist.
