Chapter 1: The Boy Who Owned Everything

There was food scattered across the marble floor.

And Noah was crying while Evelyn held his hair and pushed his face down toward it.

"Eat it," she said.

My son looked at me with tears streaming down his face.

"Mommy…

please…"

The relatives were laughing.

My husband Daniel sat at the head of the table with a glass of wine in his hand.

He saw everything.

And he did nothing.

Evelyn said the house should have belonged to her bloodline.

That was when I understood.

She was punishing my son because my father left the mansion to me and Noah.

So I pulled her hand out of his hair.

Then I sl@pped Daniel for watching.

And when the family kept staring at me like I was the problem…

I flipped the entire dinner table.

Plates shattered.

Wine spilled everywhere.

Then I opened the legal folder.

The deed.

The trust papers.

The inheritance documents.

Every page had my name.

And Noah's.

Evelyn went pale.

Because the little boy she forced to eat from the floor…

owned the house she thought she controlled.
